Preventing Bullying in Neurodiverse Settings (NDC 103)
Preventing Bullying in Neurodiverse Settings is a practical training for high school educators, counselors, and support staff who want to reduce bullying and protect vulnerable students through clear, repeatable systems.
You’ll learn how bullying shows up differently for neurodivergent students (including autistic students, students with ADHD, learning differences, and anxiety), how to spot early warning signs, and how to intervene in ways that de-escalate rather than intensify conflict.
The course provides classroom-ready strategies for building a culture of belonging, strengthening peer dynamics, and teaching skills like perspective-taking and cognitive flexibility.
By the end, you’ll leave with a set of prevention routines, in-the-moment scripts, and follow-up steps you can use immediately across classrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
